Umbra Applied Technologies Group Announces Relocation of Corporate Offices
(firmenpresse) - SHORT HILLS, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 03/14/16 -- Umbra Applied Technologies Group, Inc. (OTC PINK: UATG), a Defense and Intelligence firm, today announced that it has relocated its corporate headquarters from Short Hills, New Jersey to Tampa, Florida. Umbra has executed a five-year lease for a new principal place of business at 2203 N Lois Ave, Suite G-400, Tampa FL 33607. Umbra will continue to operate research and development, regulatory and quality operations in Austin TX. All other functions will be conducted at the Tampa offices.
"This move allows us to take advantage of Tampa's strong military and government talent pool while providing a location that also facilitates a more efficient and effective interaction with our national sales force and strategic partners on the East Coast," said Alex Umbra, CEO and Chairman of UAT Group.
UAT Group has been considering the composition and location of its headquarters for the past 18 months. The Company began its formal review in September 2014, with a list of 17 potential locations. Tampa was selected after a careful evaluation of the business ecosystem, talent, long-term costs, employee's quality of life and proximity to additional strategic corporate assets.

UAT Group has a significant existing presence in Tampa, with key strategic partners already operational in Florida and with much of its management having residency in the area. Many team members have already relocated to Tampa to support its relationships with the state's law enforcement agencies.
