Ordina appoints new member to Management Board
Nieuwegein, the Netherlands, 18 October 2010
The Supervisory Board of Ordina N.V. has appointed Stepan Breedveld (43) to the
Management Board. He will be responsible for Ordina's activities in the
Netherlands.
Mr Breedveld will join Ordina on 15 November 2010. The appointment of Mr
Breedveld as a statutory director will be put on the agenda of the upcoming
Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
Stepan Breedveld worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for more than 15
years. He successfully helped to develop strategies and bring about performance
improvements for leading telecoms, IT and technology companies in the
Netherlands and abroad, and has recently been involved with Ordina in that
capacity. He also gained extensive experience in managing professional services
organisations. In his role as a Senior Partner and Managing Director, he was in
charge of the day-to-day management of the telecoms, media and technology
practice (TMT) of BCG's Amsterdam office and of the world-wide telecoms
activities.
Mr Breedveld's appointment to Ordina's Management Board is a logical result of
the company's strategic course. At Ordina Netherlands, Mr Breedveld will focus
on delivering performance improvements across the board.
Mr Breedveld's appointment to Ordina's Management Board will also allow Ronald
Kasteel, CEO, and Bart de Jong, CFO, to focus fullly on their core duties. This
will create a more formidable Management Board that will lay the foundation for
service improvements, growth and a robust operating profit for Ordina.
