Collective Agreement Ratified by Air Traffic Controllers
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/12/11 -- NAV CANADA today announced the successful conclusion of collective bargaining with the Canadian Air Traffic Control Association (CATCA) Local 5454 which represents approximately 2100 Air Traffic Controllers.
Members of CATCA voted in favour of the tentative agreement reached on July 24, 2011. The new collective agreement runs until March 31, 2013 and provides for wage increases of 3 per cent on April 1, 2011, followed by a 3 per cent increase on April 1, 2012. A number of other minor adjustments and productivity enhancing changes also form part of the agreement.

With operations from coast to coast to coast, NAV CANADA provides air traffic control, flight information, weather briefings, aeronautical information services, airport advisory services and electronic aids to navigation.
