Talvivaara Mining Company Plc ("Talvivaara") makes a correction to its release
"Talvivaara has published the Review by the Board of Directors, the Financial
Statements and the Corporate Governance Statement for the financial period
2015" published on 22 March 2016. The correction applies only to the link to the
Corporate Governance Statement 2015 attached to the Finnish Stock Exchange
Release. In the previous release, the link lead erroneously to Talvivaara's
2015 Financial Statements.

The corrected link to the Finnish version of the Corporate Governance Statement
2015 can be found on the Finnish language Talvivaara corporate website at
www.talvivaara.com/talousraportit and it is attached as a pdf-file to the
Finnish Stock Exchange Release.
