THIN - Share capital increase registered

Reference is made to prior notices regarding the private placement in Thin Film
Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") on 1 October 2010. Following receipt of payments,
the share capital increase has been registered in the Norwegian Register of
Business Enterprises. The new shares will be delivered in the VPS as soon as
practical.
Thinfilm's registered share capital is now NOK 28,528,062.64 divided into
259,346,024 ordinary shares each having a par value of NOK 0.11. There are also
19,564,675 Warrants outstanding. The Warrants are exerciseable in the period 1
September-6 November 2010.
