INCAP IS EXPANDING ITS PRODUCTION FACILITIES IN INDIA
Incap has signed a construction contract on the expansion of its present factory
premises in India. The construction work will commence in April and the
expansion of approximately 2,000 square metres is scheduled to be available by
the end of 2016. The construction costs of approximately EUR 1 million will be
financed using operating income.
The expansion will boost the manufacturing capacity to meet the demand of the
growing export business. The deliveries to present customers in Europe continue
growing steadily and the targeted new customers can be served by increased
manufacturing capacity only.
The expansion will be constructed following the principles of sustainable
building, i.e. paying special attention to efficient use of energy and other
resources.
The factory is located in Tumkur, near Bangalore. The floor space of the present
facilities is approximately 7,700 square metres and the number of personnel is
about 400. The factory produces product entities like power supplies, inverters
and UPS, PCBs for fuel dispensers, electric actuators as well as other
electronic products.
