Teranga Gold Reports Record First Quarter Production, One of the Best Quarters in Company History
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/11/16 -- Teranga Gold Corporation ("Teranga" or the "Company") (TSX: TGZ)(ASX: TGZ) today announced its production results for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
Teranga's gold production for the first quarter of 2016 was 70,727 ounces. Record high mill throughput, together with the benefit of high-grade material deferred from last year, underpinned the quarter's results.
"We are pleased that 2016 is off to a strong start with record first quarter production and one of our best quarters ever," stated Richard Young, President & Chief Executive Officer of Teranga. "The solid start to the year puts us on track to meeting our full year production guidance of 200,000 to 215,000 ounces."

Teranga also announced that it will release its first quarter 2016 financial and operating results on Friday, April 29, 2016 at approximately 6:00 a.m. (ET). The release will be followed by a conference call and audio webcast later that morning at 8:30 a.m. (ET).
