Talon Metals Announces Board Appointment
(firmenpresse) - ROAD TOWN, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS -- (Marketwired) -- 04/12/16 -- Talon Metals Corp. ("Talon" or the "Company") (TSX: TLO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. David Deisley to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Deisley is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of NOVAGOLD Resources Inc., responsible for all aspects of the Company's legal governance and corporate affairs. Mr. Deisley has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry in the Americas, with an extensive track record in project permitting, corporate social responsibility, mergers and acquisitions and corporate development. In addition, Mr. Deisley is regarded as a human rights expert relative to resource projects and local populations. Mr. Deisley received his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.

Mr. Deisley's appointment stems from the board nomination right granted to Resource Capital Fund VI L.P. ("RCF") under the terms of the loan agreement entered into between the Company and RCF on November 25, 2015.
