With steady trends across the country of small business closures, I asked a member of the management team, Brandon Baxter, how they are defying the odds and showing profit quarter after quarter along with expansion. One of the recent promotions through the management training program, Jacob Pershing, started with Hoosier Client Connections 6 months ago and is taking advantage of the company growth by relocating to the Champaign market to open up the new branch. When asked what Jake was going to miss he responded, "The people. Not only people in the town, but our team here at Hoosier and the employees I've met at our accounts... It's a new challenge but exciting!"
HCC CEO Cylie Jones comments, "There are always mixed emotion when having a team member get promoted and expand to a new territory, but I believe in personal growth along with company growth. Any opportunity I have to put one of my people and their family in a better situation, I take it!" With agreeance from other co-workers, she goes on to say, "I love seeing people develop and grow as individuals in our organization. The company has huge goals to accomplish this year, and so far they are trending towards their biggest year ever. Management wants to continue to grow as a company to provide their employees with a great opportunity, and their clients with the right results.
