StorageVault Closes Acquisition of Winnipeg Self Storage Asset
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/21/16 -- STORAGEVAULT CANADA INC. ("StorageVault") (TSX VENTURE: SVI) is pleased to announce that, further to its news release dated March 18, 2016, it has closed the acquisition of the self storage leaseholds and business of Winnipeg Mini Storage for $978,000 cash. Concurrent with the closing of the acquisition, StorageVault entered into a 35 year lease for the land and building used in the operation of the business of Winnipeg Mini Storage.
With the acquisition, StorageVault acquired approximately 66,000 square feet of rentable storage space giving StorageVault over 160,000 rentable square feet in the Winnipeg market. For further information in relation to the acquisition, please see the March 18, 2016 news release.
