(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/22/16 -- Pinetree Capital Ltd. (TSX: PNP) announces the results of its special shareholder meeting held earlier today. At the meeting, shareholders approved the waiver of the application of the company's shareholder rights plan to the proposed acquisition of Pinetree common shares by 2507492 Ontario Ltd. and the 1-for-100 share consolidation, and confirmed the amendment to the company's general by-law to reduce the quorum for shareholder meetings to 10%.
