(PresseBox) - With the new FOOD GRADE and DETECTABLE DESIGN product lines, JACOB is exclusively presenting a modular pipework system with extra security for particularly hygiene-sensitive industries. All the components of this pipework system offer food contact compliance with the European EC 1935/2004 regulations and the American FDA guidelines. This applies for the stainless steel pipe components and fittings as well as for the sealing materials used. In addition, gaskets can be supplied as metal detectable and also optically demonstrable. The new product lines comprise more than 3,000 products. JACOB is the first and only manufacturer to offer a complete system with these special features in its portfolio.
Service is an aspect that features large at JACOB: The company also aims to make its mark as an innovative leader with a further innovation that will be presented at the Powtech trade fair for the very first time. With the new JACOB webshop, the company?s pipework systems can be ordered seven days a week. The shop can be tested at the trade fair and will shortly be going online. The thing that?s special about the shop is that it offers features which will facilitate the day-to-day work of buyers, project planners and plant engineers. These include saving and maintaining project and order data, downloading functions for project-related 3-D drawings and dimension sheets, and the option to allocate article numbers. This online shop is therefore a time-saving support tool for projects incorporating JACOB pipework systems. This is also an innovation that JACOB wishes to present as exemplary for customer service and added value in the industry.
In standardised customer-specific production, the company is also focusing on additional innovations. These innovations are now getting off the ground with the new pipe sound damper. This is easy to integrate in the JACOB pipework system with its modular design, as it allows the internal insulating material to be easily replaced during maintenance work and also offers customisation options in line with customers? wishes.
