TELUS Strikes Deal to Expand Customer Base in Manitoba
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/02/16 -- TELUS (TSX: T)(NYSE: TU) has reached an agreement in principle with BCE that will see approximately one-third of MTS' postpaid wireless customers become TELUS customers once the purchase of MTS by BCE announced today concludes. As part of the agreement, Bell will also assign one-third of MTS' dealer locations in Manitoba to TELUS.

The agreement is subject to approval from the Competition Bureau and other conditions. TELUS reports its first quarter results on Thursday, May 5 and is currently in a quiet period.
