XCHANGING WINS A FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT WITH GATWICK AIRPORT LTD.
Operators of the UK's second largest airport select Xchanging to implement IT
transition and operate a managed service
LONDON, 28 October, 2010 - Xchanging (LSE: XCH), one of the largest and fastest
growing business processors, has won a five-year contract to provide Network
Management Services to Gatwick Airport Limited (Gatwick Airport). Gatwick
Airport has the busiest single runway in the world and is owned by Global
Infrastructure Partners, an independent long-term investor in infrastructure
assets worldwide.
Xchanging will provide a comprehensive and flexible managed network service to
meet the current and future needs of Gatwick Airport. The scope includes
migrating Gatwick Airport's legacy network infrastructure from BAA and
delivering a range of enhanced services from Xchanging's modern ITIL-based
integrated processing centres.
