Metso's updates its disclosure policy

Metso's disclosure policy has been updated and it is available at Metso website
www.metso.com.
The disclosure policy, originally approved by the Board in 2008, outlines the
key principles on how Metso, as a publicly listed company, communicates with the
capital markets and other stakeholders. In addition to the minor technical
adjustments, the main change to the previous policy is that from now on Metso
discloses its orders received mainly as press releases. This is to ensure
consistent disclosure practices about new orders.
