As a result of the merger, Cargotec has now formedtwo business areas: Marine, which comprises current MacGregorbusiness area, and Industrial and Terminal, which comprises currentHiab and Kalmar business areas. Olli Isotalo continues to head theMarine business as Executive Vice President. Pekka Vauramo heads theIndustrial and Terminal business as Senior Executive Vice President.The new Industrial and Terminal organisation includes ProductSolutions with the responsibility of global product offeringcompetitiveness, Service Solutions with the responsibility of globalservice offering competitiveness, and three regional organisationswith the responsibility of sales and service: Americas, Asia-Pacificand EMEA.Cargotec has appointed three new members to its Executive Board.Unto Ahtola (54; B.Sc. Mech. Eng.) has been appointed Executive VicePresident, Product Solutions. Unto Ahtola will join Cargotec fromSandvik Mining and Construction where he has had a long career ine.g. product development, product management, sales and marketing andgeneral management roles since 1982, currently acting as VicePresident, Research & Development and Engineering.
