(Thomson Reuters ONE) -

NEWTOWN, Pa., May 24, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE:EPAM), a
leading global provider of product development and software engineering
solutions, today announced a partnership with DataStax, a provider of database
software for cloud applications. EPAM and DataStax will collaborate to provide
solutions for enterprises looking to integrate data centers at scale
with DataStax Enterprise (DSE), the database for cloud applications, based
onApache Cassandra(TM).

As more industries are transitioning their entire infrastructures and data
ecosystems to the cloud to reduce costs and increase resource efficiencies, DSE
offers the ability for cloud applications to scale and perform in distributed
environments. DataStax provides an enterprise-ready version of Apache Cassandra
and a certification program for today's increasing number of cloud applications.

"Our partnership with DataStax, combined with our integrated-technology
capabilities, enables EPAM to enhance our client's existing platforms with cost-
effective, flexible and efficient cloud solutions, like DSE, ensuring they reach
their maximum business potential fastest," said Eli Feldman, CTO, Advanced
Technology, EPAM. "We're proud to a part of the data-certified DataStax
integrators' community."

"Today's organizations are looking to accelerate their ability to build, deploy
and power cloud applications that will fundamentally transform their business,"
said Matt Rollender, VP, Cloud Strategy, DataStax. "Our collaboration with EPAM
will enable end-users to not only drive real-time value from their cloud
applications, but also provide them with the ability to make data driven
business decisions and transform customer experiences."

DSE is particularly useful for managing cloud applications that need to process
mass amounts of information. Through its linear scalability, DSE, by design, is

a distributed system, simplifying the process of adding data centers to provide
geographic proximity to customers. Additionally, DSE offers proven fault-
tolerance on hardware and cloud infrastructure, potentially reducing costs in
terms of licensing and scalability for enterprises.
