New organisation for Kesko's building and technical trade

Kesko announced in its stock exchange release published at 12.00 on 1 June 2016
that it renames the home improvement and speciality goods trade division as the
building and technical trade division. The name is changed because operations
have expanded to B2B customers and technical trade. At the same time, the
division's management responsibilities have been reorganised to support
international growth.
The management board led by Terho Kalliokoski, Kesko Executive Vice president
and the President for the building and technical trade division, has been
divided into three profit centres: foreign countries, B2B sales and Finland, all
of which are supported by five common functions units.
Vice President Tommi Kasurinen is responsible for the business operations of
countries outside Finland. His area of responsibility covers Estonia, Latvia,
Lithuania, Belarus, Sweden, Norway, Russia and Poland. Vice President Mikko
Pasanen is responsible for the sales operations to businesses. Pasanen also acts
as Onninen Oy's CEO. Vice President Timo Pesonen is responsible for the business
operations in Finland. His area of responsibility covers the K-rauta and Rautia
chains, as well as the Asko and Sotka chains. Pesonen also acts as the President
of Indoor Group Ltd.
Vice President Timo Heimo is responsible for the development of digital
services, for marketing, logistics and business support. Vice President Jani
Karotie is responsible for commerce, which includes selection composition,
sourcing and commerce support functions. Vice President Jarno Kivinen is
responsible for business development and store sites. Vice President Jennie
Stenbom is responsible for the HR and communication functions. Vice President
Mia Kaitaharju is responsible for the finance, credit and risk management
affairs.
The operating areas of the agricultural and machinery trade as well as the
leisure trade remain unchanged and their Presidents Antti Meriläinen and Jussi
Mikkola report to Terho Kalliokoski.
