Teslin River Completes First Drill Program in Nevada
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/17/11 -- Teslin River Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: TLR) ("Teslin" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the completion of an RC drill on the Mustang property located 20 miles southeast of Gabbs, Nye County, Nevada. Assay results from the drilling are expected to be announced within the next few weeks. The property is 8 miles southeast of and possesses a similar geological terrain as the Paradise Peak mine, which produced 1.5 million ounces of gold and 40 million ounces of silver between 1985 - 2001. The Mustang property comprises 66 claims that are 100 per cent owned by Teslin.

Eight drill holes were completed, each to a depth of 200 - 250 meters for a total program of 1800 meters. Four holes were centered around an anomalous 2005 drill hole. The 2005 hole included intersections being 7 meters grading 0.14g/t gold and 21 meters grading 0.12 g/t gold and 20 g/t silver. Two of the holes were located in the northern portion of the property in the vicinity of small surface outcrops. Samples from the outcrops included assays up to 11.9 g/t gold and 74.1 g/t silver. The final two holes of the eight hole program were drilled in the southern portion of the property in the area a highly anomalous surface outcrop.
