"The EVF Gorilla Plate bracket allows me to use my Canon 5D MKII like a traditional video camera with a positionable EVF," says Director of Multimedia for The Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society Mike Collins. "Having the ability to tilt the EVF up or down or even to the side allows me to shoot more creatively and instinctively. I'm no longer limited by a viewfinder on the rear of the camera body forcing me to keep my camera at a consistent height."
The EVF Gorilla Plate Bracket attaches to your Gorilla Plate or DSLR Baseplate by using a "sling" bracket that fastens to the two allen screws that also attach the red thumb screw block to the plates. A is attached to the end of the sling bracket which allows users to attach the included EVF Pan and Tilt Mount and articulate the mount in any direction. The then attaches to the bottom of the EVF with its ¼" 20 screw and can quickly release from the EVF Pan and Tilt Mount with the flip of a lever.
