Greenpicks signs Worldwide Charter for Fair International Commerce
International Online Marketplace supports initiative of the International Businesses Standards Organization IBSO

(firmenpresse) - Cologne, 15 June 2016 – Greenpicks – Eco & Upcycling Market signed the Worldwide Charter for Fair International Commerce by the International Businesses Standards Organization IBSO. The global initiative stands by businesses adopting sustainability and fair trade policies. The Charter supports international businesses showcasing a particular social and environmental sensibility through following a code of conduct and a set of universal principles; reflecting the core values of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, labor conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and other internationally recognized principles (www.standardizations.org/charter).
“With the participation in this global initiative we want to demonstrate our commitment to positively impacting economic development, contributing to environmental sustainability, and promoting human rights throughout the world.” says the founder and owner of Greenpicks Annette Husmann.
On the online marketplace for sustainable products www.greenpicks.de producers and distributors present products that meet the sustainability criteria of Greenpicks. The values and principles of the signed Charter such as respect for human rights, fair labor practices and environmental protection are thus automatically satisfied both by the represented vendors and the products offered.
The Worldwide Charter for Fair International Commerce is an absolutely non-commercial project and 100% free and voluntarily for its signatories. The International Businesses Standards Organization (IBSO) is a worldwide independent non-profit organization that creates, promotes, and maintains evaluative and ethical standards for international market players and for the global business community at large. As a participant of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, IBSO integrates UN core values in its daily activities.
