The Russell Italy Index Reflects -20.8% Loss QTD Through August 15

(firmenpresse) - SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/18/11 -- The Russell Italy Index reflected a -20.8% loss quarter-to-date, underperforming the Russell Developed Euro-Zone Index which posted a -16.5% loss for the same time period.

Despite having strong first quarters of 2011, both the Russell Italy Index and the Russell Developed Euro-Zone Index have posted negative returns of (-11.3%) and (-5.7%) year-to-date respectively, through August 15, 2011.





The Russell Global Index includes more than 10,000 securities in 48 countries and covers 98% of the investable global market. All securities in the index are classified according to size, region, country and sector. Daily Returns for the main components are available here:
