New man on top of Grundfos Americas

(PresseBox) - Dieter Sauer has been appointed new Regional Managing Director for Grundfos Americas. The 45-year old US national takes over the reins as of July 1st.
The new Regional Managing Director for Grundfos Americas has been appointed. The new head of our business in North and South America is Dieter Sauer. He comes from a position as President of Grundfos Water Utility.

With his extensive knowledge of the pump industry and his leadership acumen, we are confident that Dieter will lead the Americas region to further significant business results - building on clear leadership direction and a top-motivated employee workforce," says Poul Due Jensen, Group Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer.
Dieter Sauer holds extensive experience from the pump industry with more than 20 years in the business. He has held roles of increasing responsibility at IDEX Corporation, including Vice President and General Manager of Corken Incorporated, President of Pulsafeeder Engineered Products, and most recently as President of Grundfos Water Utility, formerly YCC, the Grundfos-owned Water Utility Company based in Aurora in the US.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
"I am honored to take on this new responsibility and look forward to working with the America's team to deliver our regional objectives as defined by our Strategy 2020," says Dieter Sauer.
In his new position, Dieter Sauer will stay based in the Chicago-area, as he will be based at Grundfos Americas HQ in Downers Grove.
