Lubrizol Home Care Products Added to Safer Choice Program
CLEVELAND, JUNE 23, 2016- The Lubrizol Corporation is pleased to announce that
Noverite(TM) AD 810N, Noverite(TM) AD 810G and Noverite(TM) LD 920N polymers
have been favorably reviewed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
as meeting the program standards for ingredients under the Safer Choice
program. The three polymers have been added to the Safer Chemical Ingredients
list, designed to help manufacturers find safer chemical alternatives.

Noverite AD 810 and LD 920 polymers are designed for that challenge and enable
formulators to meet certification requirements as well as consumer performance
requirements."
Noverite AD 810G and AD 810N polymers are novel acrylic terpolymers that deliver
spot-free and film-free benefits in phosphate-free automatic dishwasher
formulations The polymer structure enables efficient sequestration of hard water
ions, prevents carbonate crystal growth and formation of adhering scale and
provides efficient particulate soil suspension. Formulators can replace
multiple additives by using this one multifunctional ingredient. Two product
forms, solid granular and liquid solution, are available to enable formulation
of liquid, powder and tablet automatic dishwasher detergent products.
Noverite LD 920N polymer is a unique acrylic copolymer that provides
multifunctional performance benefits in laundry detergent products. In addition
to aiding detergent performance, Noverite LD 920N can improve efficiency during
detergent processing, which can result in significant reductions in water and
energy consumption. Noverite LD 920N polymer can be used in a variety of
detergents such as detergent powders and unit dose laundry detergent tablets as
well as in products that are designed to remove hard water scale in washing
machines.
The Noverite AD 810G, Noverite AD 810N and Noverite LD 920 polymers are also

products that comply with the Safer Choice program.
