Team Rapala Finland Wins European Sport Fishing Championship
Rapala Pro Guides Antti Anttila and Markku Tiusanen represented Finland in the
World Predator Classic tournament held in the Netherlands and won the
competition that's viewed as the European Sport Fishing Championship event. In
the three day tournament teams of two fishermen per boat fished for perch,
zander and pike.
The goal for each day of the tournament is to catch three perch, three zander
and one pike, the overall length of the fish being the daily score. Anttila and
Tiusanen finished second on the first day, first on the second day and fourth on
the final day among the 51 boats that competed, which guaranteed them the win
for the overall competition.
Anttila and Tiusanen took part in the World Predator Classic for the third time
in the three-year history of the tournament and finally won it after finishing
third in the first year and fourth in the second year. Anttila and Tiusanen have
wont the World Predator Classic team event with their French partners Briere and
Vringaud in all three years.
