Dear Valued Shareholders,
BDIC has just completed its third quarter as a revenue generating company therefore I wanted to take an opportunity to update our shareholders on our recent developments, opportunities and outlook for the remainder of 2016. The Company is pleased to announce that with our recent production we have achieved a major milestone of over 500 units deployed to paying customers. I am confident that we are within days of closing our financing deal and I anticipate that we will be funded shortly. I believe the company will accomplish its goal of deploying over 1,100 units by year's end.
I hope that the Company's positive outlook and social impact continues to be recognized by our shareholders.
I am sure that interested shareholders are aware that we have been granted a 3-year contract by the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (NYDCJS) to replace an industry leader in Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Devices that was recently suspended by the State of New York. We have begun to setup service centers in New York as we anticipate commencing sales in August.
The industry leaders are for the most part approved in all 50 states and each has an estimated 50,000 - 70,000 BAIID's paying offenders each and every day in the United States. We continue to pursue new state approvals as we work to grow BDIC's national ignition interlock market share to a similar level.
Ignition interlocks have proven to reduce death, bodily injury and property damage caused by drunk drivers while still being a preferable alternative to license suspensions and jail time for both the tax paying public and the DUI/DWI offender. To date BDIC has serviced over 500 US clients and has
BDIC and its management team are as committed as ever to creating a sustainable business that consistently increases shareholder value. We are expecting rapid growth as we move through the phases of our plan for national expansion. As we look forward to the second half of 2016, we are actively seeking to expand our retail footprint with expansion into home alcohol monitoring for parolees and family court programs.
