A unique simulation function – the GHM-CAT Editor
GHM Messtechnik GmbH, producer of a wide range of sensors and measuring transducers for industrial use presents the engineering-tool GHM-CAT tailored for the new multifunction controller GHM-ONE on the all about automation from 28. – 29. September 2016, stand C-118 in Leipzig.
(firmenpresse) - GHM-CAT runs on laptops and PCs from Windows 7 onwards. The modularly expandable performance of GHM-ONE facilitates non-PLC trained professionals alterations through the graphical selection of finished functional blocks from an extensive library, which are wired on the screen and linked to the inputs and outputs with the mouse. This eliminates the programming of control algorithms and control structures, as proven functions are simply put together like hardware modules. Even traditional PLC latches are replaced in this way and integrated into the functional diagram. This allows the simulation of the process plant on the PC and helps to shorten the start-up. An online help provides information and entails even detailed graphics on complex topics of control engineering. If application modules are grouped into related blocks, the user creates a direct reflection of his
process/plant and thus transparency and clarity.
