Chicago Unobtrusive Spinal Surgery Gold Coast Orthopedic Practice Launched
A new spinal surgery practice has launched, run by Dr Robert Fink, one of the only practitioners of non intrusive surgery in Chicago. His practice can treat herniated disks in a way that requires the patient only receive a band aid or single stitch.

The site explains that Robert Fink has been an orthopedic surgeon for over 30 years, and offers back aid surgery so fine that patients leave with only a band aid or one stitch after the procedure is completed.
The surgery is completed in order to take out herniated, bulging, extruding and extruded discs, treat fractures in the back, perform sacroiliac joint fusion, and remove bone from neural foraminal narrowing.
On the Gold Coast Surgery website, potential patients can find out how the procedures are carried out in an outpatient surgical setting, with no destabilisation of the spine by detaching spine muscles with a cut, unlike traditional open back surgery.
As part of the surgery launch, Robert Fink has released a video interview covering aspects of his practice, and detailing what would require spinal surgery and the process involved when patients undergo it.
In the interview, Robert Fink says that the main reason patients would come to the practice to have spinal surgery would be to treat herniated disks in the back. Symptoms for this include pain in the back, which often travels down to the buttocks and legs, including weakness in the legs and incapacitating pain in the legs.
He explains: "With our technique, people come into the surgical center, we make a small incision in the operating room, often with just sedation anaesthesia we're able to go to the disk without disturbing very much of the other anatomy."
