Velexsoft Technologies, a California engineering design firm, has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing for its Velex Automobile OBD Solution.
(firmenpresse) - San Mateo, CA - Velexsoft Technologies, a California engineering design firm, has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing for its Velex Automobile OBD Solution. The Velex System is an integrated on-board, cloud-based diagnostics system that empowers its end-users by providing access and visibility into their vehicles' systems and operations.
The Velex Automotive Solution consists of the Velex Bluetooth Hardware Sensor, Velex Cloud Computing Infrastructure and Velex Diagnostic Mobile Applications. The Velex Sensor is a portable device that connects to the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) via the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) Ports. The sensor communicates seamlessly with the vehicle and provides real-time operational data available via secure, smart, and fast Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology to the car owner. When asked about the target end-user, the Company stated that the solution was intentionally designed for easy use and for every vehicle owner regardless of how technically knowledgeable they are.
Velexsoft Technologies claims that its combination of uniquely designed hardware sensors, cloud services, and mobile applications taken together, promote vehicle health awareness, control emissions, and cultivate better driving habits. According to a Company spokesperson, the patent pending Velex Automobile Solution is designed to be the most complete hardware/software co-designed on-board diagnostics platform available to the everyday driver.

The system features reports for consumers such as vehicle vehicle health and performance logs that a driver would normally need to pay their mechanic to receive. Other features include a low power CMOS design with smart sleep mode, Bluetooth 4.0, and a free app available for either IOS or Android platforms.
