iPass and Uber Join Forces to Provide International Uber Riders With Free Wi-Fi Access in Rio de Janeiro
Partnership Will Help Tourists and Locals Move Around the City in a Reliable and Accessible Way at the Touch of a Button

As part of the partnership, iPass will provide Uber riders with access to more than 1350 iPass commercial hotspots in Rio de Janeiro. Starting immediately, the promotion will run until August 21.
Within the Brazilian city, iPass boasts a notable footprint, with Wi-Fi coverage in elite hotels, in tourist-friendly neighborhoods, Copacabana and Ipanema, and near popular sporting venues.
