On Monday, August 8 from noon - 1 p.m. (EDT), the seminar, "Raising the Bar on Infusion Safety: Patient Safety Initiatives at Western Maryland Health System and Cameron Memorial Community Hospital will be presented by Christine Ruhl, BSN, MBA, CCRN, Director, Critical Care Services for Western Maryland Health System in Cumberland, MD; Scott Hirschy, RN, BS, IT Applications Manager from Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, IN; and Andrew Aldred, PharmD, MBA, Director of Pharmacy and Material Management from Cameron Memorial Community Hospital.
This webinar describes the journey to infusion therapy safety taken by both a large hospital system and a small community system. Regardless of size, all hospitals are capable of improving patient safety as it relates to infusion therapy.
