Welocalize Achieves International Standard ISO 17100:2015 for Translation Service Providers
(firmenpresse) - FREDERICK, MD -- (Marketwired) -- 08/18/16 -- Welocalize, global leader in translation and localization solutions, has successfully achieved certification to the International Standard specific to translation service providers, ISO 17100:2015, for global operations across North America, Asia and Europe.
Welocalize was granted the new certification following successful independent operations audits. The International Standard specifies requirements for all aspects of the translation process directly affecting the quality and delivery of translation services. This is a very detailed certification which governs how translations are prepared, managed, executed, and how resources are selected, recruited and managed for all associated pre and post production activities.

Welocalize recently announced certification to the new quality management system, ISO 9001:2015 for global operations across North America, Asia and Europe, which focuses on all aspects quality throughout Welocalize services. ISO 17100 complements ISO 9001:2015 because it is a very granular certification, providing detailed guidelines on the delivery of translation services.
