Radient Technologies Inc. Announces Appointment of Jith Veeravalli to Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/24/16 -- Radient Technologies Inc. ("Radient" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: RTI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jith Veeravalli to its Board of Directors as an independent, non-executive director.
Jith Veeravalli is a successful entrepreneur and over the past 35 years has operated businesses in numerous countries. As Chairman of Gencor Pacific Limited ("Gencor"), a private life sciences product development company, based in California and Hong Kong, he has been instrumental in its rise to prominence among the nutraceutical companies worldwide. Over the past 10 years he has made strategic investment in technology companies and sits on the board of several companies in the US, Canada, Australia, Israel, South Africa, Hong Kong and India.
Gencor and Radient established a strategic partnership in 2014 that also included a strategic investment by Gencor. Jith replaces Mr. Rasamay Venkatesh who was previously Gencor's representative. Mr. Venkatesh will be stepping down from the Board effectively immediately.
