ÅF AB has acquired a majority in the Danish consulting firm, Traffic Team A/S
who are specialists in temporary traffic management plans at road works.
Together possess ÅF and Traffic Team a solid knowledge about technical traffic
solutions and traffic analysis.
"There is a rapid development in the transport sector, where new technologies
can increase the security of all types of road users and relieve congestion on
the roads. Traffic Team has extensive experience of practical traffic
conditions, and ÅF is strong in research and technical solutions. Together we
can create innovative transport solutions for the benefit of both road users and
customers, "says Per Seidelin, Managing Director ÅF - Hansen Henneberg.
2015 Trafffic Team`s turnover was 20 million DKK.
With the acquisition of Traffic Team, ÅF will have 170 employees in Denmark.
"ÅF is striving to become stronger on the Danish market and the purchase of
Traffic Team is another step in that direction", says Jonas Wiström, CEO of ÅF.
With the acquisition ÅF AB buys 51 percent of the share capital of Traffic Team.
Peter Garborg, CEO of Traffic Team retains 49 percent of the shares. ÅF has an
option to buy the remaining shares within a period of three years.
