New Mozambique Deepwater Discovery

Wentworth Resources Limited ("the Company" or "Wentworth", OSX:WRL) an oil and
gas company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, is pleased to announce a natural
gas discovery at the Lagosta prospect, offshore Mozambique.
Lagosta is the fifth well in the offshore exploration programme operated by
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation ("Anadarko"), in the frontier Rovuma Basin Area
1 Offshore Mozambique (where Wentworth is entitled to receive an Overriding
Royalty Interest of approx. 0.42% of Profit Petroleum).
"The Lagosta discovery follows on Anadarko's earlier success with the
Windjammer, Barquentine, and Ironclad wells and we are pleased to have a
financial interest in the outcome of this major exploration programme.
