Forsan Ceramics Already Number Three Ceramics Producer in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Dr. Khater Massaad, CEO of the fast growing Al Forsan Global Industrial Complex
('Forsan Ceramics') in the Kingdsom of Saudi Arabia today forecast that from a
standing start of production less than two years ago it will be the number three
ceramics and porcelain producer in the Kingdom as it ramps up to full production
before the beginning of 2017.
Forsan Ceramics, based in the King Abdullah Economic City on the Red Sea coast
of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was only set up in 2011, and is the result of a
$186m investment with local Saudi partners.
The production facilities comprise of three large scale, state of the art tile
and sanitary ware manufacturing factories with annual production capabilities of
12 million sqm ceramic tiles and 8 million sqm porcelain tiles - together enough
to cover 4,000 soccer pitches - as well as 1.45 million sanitary ware pieces.
Dr Khater Massaad said about the new forecast for Forsan Ceramics: "Our goal is
to meet the strong demand coming from such a dynamic country for our ceramic and
porcelain products and when we do we will then be producing at full capacity.
"It also means that, if we are not already, we will soon be the number three
producer in the Kingdom which is quite an achievement for a business which only
started production less than two years ago."
