ModiFace Launches AI-Based Live-Video Skin Simulation Tech Created by Dermatologists
New Technology Being Unveiled for the First Time Measures the Precise State of Skin and Simulates Potential Skin Changes in Live Video

The new Skin AI technology, which has been created with the help of a panel of dermatologists, specifically detects individual skin concerns such as rosacea, dark spots, discolorations, dryness, uneven skin, and fine lines and is able to measure and assess each concern. From there, it can be used to simulate precise changes to the skin in real-time video, and provide before and after skin comparisons.

Skin AI uses patent-pending machine learning technology that is based on specific observations and input from a group of dermatologists. A detailed scientific evaluation of Skin AI, which was found to have an accuracy comparable to that of skin experts, will be presented at the IEEE International Workshop on Multimedia Signal Processing in September 2016.
