Central government payments gave a surplus in November
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
Swedish central government payments resulted in a surplus of SEK 13.7 billion in
November. This is marginally less than the Debt Office's forecast of SEK 14.3
billion.
Disbursements by central government agencies were just over SEK 2 billion larger
than forecasted, but this was counteracted by the Debt Office's net lending
being lower.
Interest payments on central government debt were SEK 0.7 billion larger than
forecasted.
For the twelve-month period up to the end of November 2010, central government
payments resulted in a deficit of SEK 21 billion. Central government debt
amounted to SEK 1,080 billion at the end of November.
The outcome for December and the yearly outcome for 2010 will be published at
9:30 am on 11 January 2011.
