The demand for mobile threat defense has increased exponentially in the past few months, thanks to malware such as , and . According to a 2016 survey report by Information Security, nearly one in five organizations suffered a mobile security breach driven by malware and malicious WiFi. The report goes on to showcase data leakage and data loss as the top BYOD security concern among respondents (72 percent). Other concerns highlighted in the report include unauthorized access to data, the downloading of unsafe apps and malware at 56 percent, 54 percent and 52 percent respectively.
