Kamaz and Kögel announce cooperation
(PresseBox) - Kamaz, the largest Russian manufacturer of trucks, trailers, tractors, chassis and motors and the Kögel Trailer GmbH & Co. KG from Germany agreed on a long-term cooperation in Russia. Both companies signed a cooperation agreement at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Exhibition in Hannover.
The cooperation includes the delivery of components freom Kögel to Kamaz and the development and production of semi-trailers and trailer bodies in Russia.
Kögel is present in Russia since more than 35 years. The German trailer specialist supplies vehicles in Russia, that are adapted to the requirements of the Russian transport industry. In addition to its own local stock of spare parts in Russia and an extensive service network of more than 100 workshops, Kögel also offers a wide range of immediately available semi-trailers.
Kögel is one of the leading trailer manufacturers in Europe. Since it was established in 1934, the company has manufactured more than 500,000 trailers. With its commercial vehicles and solutions for freight-forwarding companies and the construction industry, the company has been providing 'Made in Germany' engineering quality for more than 80 years.
