Aker Solutions awarded Goliat tie-in and connector contract

21 December 2010 - Aker Solutions has been awarded the tie-in and connector
scope associated with the Goliat flowlines and risers contract by Technip
Norway. The contract value is approximately NOK 65 million.
The scope of work includes the outboard remote tie-in system termination heads
and associated equipment. The equipment will be used to tie in the flowlines,
pipelines and flexible jumpers to the manifolds, flowline t-junctions (ILTs) and
riser bases on the Goliat field in the Barents Sea north west of Hammerfest,
Norway.
This contract comes in addition to Aker Solutions having been awarded the Goliat
subsea production system last year by ENI. Earlier this year Aker Solutions was
also awarded the direct electrical heating (DEH) contract for the Goliat project
under Technip's flowlines and risers contract.
The project will be executed and manufactured mainly in Norway, with the
delivery of the final equipment expected during Q2 2013.
The contract party is Aker Subsea AS.
