59th UITP World Congress and Mobility & City Transport Exhibition
The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and the Dubai Roads &
Transport Authority (RTA) have the pleasure to invite press and media
representatives to the 59th UITP World Congress and the Mobility & City
Transport Exhibition that will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre,
Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 10 to 14 April 2011.
'Boosting public transport: Action!', the Congress theme, will be a first
important milestone in achieving the aim of the UITP strategy: doubling the
public transport market share worldwide by 2025.
Congress sessions present the latest developments in the field of public
transport in terms of institutional organization, technology, industrial
innovation, financing schemes and integrated mobility.
* 23 sessions and over 100 speakers from more than 30 countries
* 10 Regional workshops (Latin America, MENA, Eurasia, Turkey, Iran, Africa,
India, Asia-Pacific) and European session for a truly international
representation of the sector
* Many CEOs, COOs, CFOs already confirmed.
The Mobility & City Transport Exhibition interacts with the Congress as the
place where Industry showcases its contribution to building the future of public
transport.
