NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

On 31 December 2010, London Mining received a notification that UBS Investment
Bank had crossed a threshold of more than one whole percentage point and now
holds 6.77% of the total voting rights of London Mining Plc.
In accordance with Chapter 5 of the UK FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules,
shareholders are required to notify London Mining and the FSA of acquisitions or
disposals or voting rights which reach, exceed or fall below 3% or any
subsequent whole percentage within 2 trading days of the relevant change.
