Options exercised by BP Norge
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
BP Norge AS has exercised two three-month options for the continued use of the
MSV Regalia and thereafter Safe Scandinavia at the Valhall offshore facility in
the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.
The first three months commencing in July 2011 using the MSV Regalia will be in
direct continuation of the existing firm period. The Safe Scandinavia will
complete the remaining three months commencing October 2011, consecutively after
the MSV Regalia. The value of the exercised options is around USD 44.9 million.
In addition, Prosafe has granted an additional two-month option commencing
January 2012 if exercised.
