Cameron LNG Terminal, USA
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - 25 August 2009 - The Aker Solutions and IHI partnership has receiveda signed Notice of Substantial Completion for Sempra LNG's CameronLNG liquefied natural gas (LNG) receipt terminal near Lake Charles,Louisiana, USA.The Cameron LNG terminal project combined Aker Solutions' expertisein regasification engineering, construction management, commissioningand start-up with IHI's design and manufacturing knowledge of LNGstorage and processing systems."We are pleased this project has reached completion," said JohnSiffert, head of Aker Solutions' LNG business. "The start up andcompletion of the performance tests for the Cameron LNG terminal isthe culmination of several years of hard work. Our project team hasdone a great job."Cameron LNG's first commissioning cargo arrived June 21. A subsequentdelivery was made on June 30.
