Amendment to Biotie Therapies Corp. Articles of Association registered
The amendment to the Articles of Association approved by the Extraordinary
General Meeting of Biotie Therapies Corp. ("Biotie" or the "Company") held on 1
February 2011 ("EGM") has been entered in the Trade Register on 7 February
2011. The Articles of Association have been amended so that the maximum amount
of members of the Board of Directors is ten (10) members.
The Articles of Association currently in force are available at the Company's
website www.biotie.com/en/investors/governance/articles_of_association.
Biotie has published the resolutions passed by the EGM in a stock exchange
release on 1 February 2011.
After the registration of the amendment to the Articles of Association, the
resolutions passed by the EGM regarding the number of the members of the Board
of Directors and the election of new members of the Board of Directors and the
resignation of Pauli Marttila and Riku Rautsola become effective. The members of
the Board of Directors are Peter Fellner (Chairman), Merja Karhapää, Bernd
Kastler, Piet Serrure, James S. Shannon, Bradley J. Bolzon, Andrew J. Schwab,
Guido Magni, Ismail Kola and William M. Burns.
