SDRL - Seadrill announces fourth quarter and preliminary 2010 earnings release date and conference call information

Hamilton, Bermuda, February 9, 2011 - Seadrill's fourth quarter and preliminary
2010 results are scheduled to be released on Thursday February 24, 2011 before
the start of trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In connection with the earnings release, a conference call/webcast will be held
as described below:
A conference call will be held at 09:00 a.m. ET time and 3:00 p.m. (Norwegian
time) on Thursday February 24, 2011.
To listen to the management presentation of the results, the following options
