At Photonics West, the world's largest event for photonics, FISBA will showcase its miniaturized high-power blue laser module, FISBA FISCam? and Precision Molded Optics
(PresseBox) - 17.01.2017 - FISBA, a world leader in customized optical components, systems and microsystems is showcasing a new optical application for life science and surgical industries at Photonics West 2017. The high-power fiber coupled laser module operates at 4 watt / 450 nm. It is efficient and fast to work with due to its light weight and small size. This laser module is specifically valuable to users in life sciences and surgical industries because it enables fast tissue repair as a result of its integrated blue light.
The FISBA FISCam? will also be featured at Photonics West. This customizable micro camera delivers impressive 400 x 400 resolution images in a compact design measuring less than 2 mm in diameter. It is tiny and lightweight, yet produces crystal clear images for a number of innovative applications including endoscopy, authenticity control and determination of germ count, particle detection and counting and fast machine vision and sensor applications.
FISBA?s exhibit at Photonics West will also include Precision Molded Optics and Aspheres for Infrared. These advanced components include double-sided aspheres, off-axis aspheres and acylindrical lens arrays manufactured with FISBA?s precision glass molding technology. For infrared lenses, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR are available including aspheric lenses and diffractives molded from chalcogenide glass. They are manufactured at FISBA?s production facilities in Tucson, Arizona complying ITAR regulations.
