East Capital Explorer AB - Net Asset Value SEK 108 per share on 28 February 2011

· On 28 February 2011 the net asset value per share in East Capital Explorer
amounted to EUR 12.33 (corresponding to SEK 108[i]). The total net asset value
amounted to EUR 430m (corresponding to SEK 3.8bn)
· The total net asset value (EUR) decreased 1.7 percent compared to 31 January
2011
· In February 2011, East Capital Explorer agreed to invest up to an additional
USD 0.8m (EUR 0.6m) into Populi to increase the company's working capital. The
investment will be carried out in three tranches during the first and second
quarter at a valuation 41% below the initial USD 5m (EUR 3.6m) investment, and
as a result the entire holding was written down to this new valuation level
· In February, East Capital Explorer invested EUR 12.1m into Komercijalna Banka
Skopje and divested EUR 5.0m from its holding in East Capital (Lux) Eastern
European Fund. In the beginning of March, EUR 5.0m was invested in East Capital
Bering Balkan Fund
· The value of cash, cash equivalents and other short term investments per
share amounted to EUR 1.02 (SEK 9), corresponding to an aggregate of EUR 36m
(SEK 311m) of which EUR 23m (SEK 200m) were available for future investments
· The closing price per share on 28 February 2011 was SEK 81.50 (corresponding
to EUR 9.33)
The total number of shares outstanding in East Capital Explorer AB on 28
February 2011 was 34,851,675.
