ODU-MAC Silver-Line with new M+/P+ docking frame varieties for optional PE transmission
(PresseBox) - The ODU-MAC Silver-Line is extending its portfolio with two new docking frames. The well-known M frame will become the new M+ frame, and the P frame will become the P+. Both new frames will enable their users to optionally carry out PE transmissions via the frame. The ?+? in the product name stands for this new feature.
The ODU-MAC Silver-Line for automatic docking is characterized by a particularly high number of mating cycles, far beyond 10,000. A robust and vibration-resistant hybrid interface, particularly suited to industrial applications, it offers reliable transmission options for signals, power, high current, high voltage, coax, and media including air and fluids, data rates and fiber optic.
A secure docking solution can be selected from the six docking frame varieties to ensure a perfect fit for the respective application. The M+ and P+ docking frame varieties are new additions to the portfolio.
Additional features: A standard feature in the new ODU-MAC Silver-Line frames is their being predesigned for optional PE transmission. The respective grounding kit must be ordered and mounted separately to enable ground connection. The tolerance compensation of up to +/-2.5 mm remains undiminished and the minimum number of 100,000 mating cycles is met. The contact resistance is compliant with the respective norm and lies at around <0.1 Ohm. The M+ grounding kit offers a maximum end cross section of 4 mm² and the P+ grounding kit even offers 10mm².
